Louisa Burnett-Hall
Patrick O'Reilly was born in 1957 in Kilkenny, a small town in Ireland. At the age of 17, and largely self taught, he then decided to pursue his own his artistic route as he had been doing since childhood, by drawing and making objects. The first exhibition of his work took place in 1996 at the Galway Arts Festival. Since then, his extraordinary work has been shaking up the world of fine Art. Works are on permanent display at the Hugh Lane Gallery, Dublin, AIB, Bank of Ireland and other important public and private collections in Ireland, Europe and America.
